Gym Security
In light of the events in Southport early this week, we want to reassure you that we consider the safety of our gymnasts paramount. We will continue to monitor who gymnasts are leaving with and who is in the gym as we always have. We are reviewing our procedure as a matter of urgency to consider what other steps we can put in place to increase security. We’ve had a few questions about locking the front door. It is not always practical to lock the front door but we are looking into getting a coded entry system and will lock the front door when we can. Please bare with us while we work to get it set up as soon as we can.
Splits Challenge
We have a summer splits challenge to try to get down in splits by the end of the summer holidays. Please see our social media post and posters in the gym for more information. Anyone getting all the way down or doing oversplits will receive a certificate. Please let me know if your child would like to take part.
Holiday clubs
We have a wide range of holiday clubs over the summer. We have;
- Full days/half days 5th, 8th, 16th and 30th August

Award Scheme Assessment Week
We had our first award scheme assessment week in July. All recreational gymnasts who attended that week were assessed for a level. They either achieved that level or still have some skills to work on. If they are partway through a level, you can check their progress on JoinIn. We will let you know when our next assessment week is so we can update your child’s progress.
